NEW GUESTMIX! Robert Koch - Jahcoozi Blitz n Ass mix

"A friend recently joked that promo mixes are the new album. While that might not be entirely true, it does underscore the recent propensity toward enticing consumers with alternate versions of what they hope people will buy. A really helpful mix gives listeners a survey of a group’s aesthetic, as well as their personal musical taste. This new mixtape from Berlin-based Jahcoozi does just that. On top of a hot remix 12″ with reworks by LWE faves Sasse and Ata, Arto Mwambé and Cassy, the trio is also set to release their sophomore album, Blitz N Ass.

FRESH TRACK! Pony - So Sober

Here it comes, as the last track of 2007. This record was actually produced way back in March, but hasn't really seen daylight since.

It's a sound I really like, with soft embedding and sample from swedish band Kent and many others.

You add some sounds, drums and filters of your own. And there you go, you might just made a hit... Daft Punk use samples of some of their records. A lot of people here in Stockholm are discussing this new hit-single called "Alla som inte dansar är våldtäktsmän", (engl: "You're a rapist if u don't dance") from a mystic group called Maskinen. Who are these guys... People are asking themselves and even debating on the web. Is it Magnus Uggla? Perhaps it's Darin? Or heeeey, I know now, it's a Just D comeback!

Anyways, this is a remix I made last night. I used the instrumental från Maskinen and threw away the vocals and instead put in Three Six Mafia´s lyrics from Who Run It. mmmmm... much better now.
